The starting point for the best June Long Weekend is getting a ticket to the Parkes Hotel Tent at the Picnic Races. Your ticket includes bus transport to and from the races, with the first bus leaving the pub at 11.30am.
Once there, you will enjoy a delicious lunch that includes succulent roast meat, fragrant Moroccan lamb, authentic chicken Korma, tender beef Stroganoff, fresh salads, and ‘hands down the best potato bake you’ll ever have’!
You will be provided with all your drinks for the day, including beer, wine, bubbles, Starburst punch ?, soft drink and water.
And to counter those mid-afternoon cravings, we’ve got hot roast rolls and home made soup available all day.
Word is, there’s a good chance of a sneaky guest appearance and possible performance by the Blues Brothers Rebooted at some stage during the day…
